The Biche is the last tuna boat of the island of Groix, built in 1934 in the Sables d'Olonne by the shipyard Aimé Chauffeteau for the owner Ange Stéphan.The association Les Amis du Biche located in Groix saved and restored it. In 2013 Biche was distinguished by the British magazine Classic Boat, which attributed the "first Award" for the best restoration in Europe. It is classified as a Boat of Heritage Interest by the Maritime and River Heritage Foundation.
Le Biche est le dernier thonier-dundée de l'île de Groix, construit en 1934 aux Sables d'Olonne par le chantier naval Aimé Chauffeteau pour le compte de l'armateur Ange Stéphan, l'association Les Amis du Biche située à Groix l'a sauvé et restauré. En 2013, Biche a été distinguée par le magazine britannique Classic Boat, qui lui a attribué le "premier prix" de la meilleure restauration en Europe.
